One bad long run changed everything

Maple Boost was created by Ryan, a dad and daily runner who was tired of forcing down chemical-tasting gels that destroyed his stomach. After every long run ended in a gut bomb, he asked a simple question: why can not energy fuel be real food?

The answer was sitting in his kitchen pantry — pure Vermont maple syrup. Combined with a pinch of Mediterranean sea salt for electrolytes, he had created the simplest, cleanest energy gel on the market.

Tested inside Tribal Training by cyclists, runners, triathletes, and everyday professionals, Maple Boost proved that real food fuel works better than synthetic alternatives.

Wanting real fuel

When I got into endurance sports, I was already moving away from processed foods in daily life. It felt wrong to fuel exercise with chemicals and junk — nothing on the market made real food easy.

Bananas in a kit pocket, dates in my shorts, a honey bear in my trail vest. Real food, but a big pain — and it turned out real food has almost no sodium, the #1 electrolyte for endurance.
